During a live broadcast, the host uses Broadcast room tabs Chat and Participants.

Blocked words

  1. Open Broadcast room → Participants tab.
  2. Add phrases under Blocked words (e.g. spam, profanity).
  3. Settings are saved on the webinar room — the player rejects messages containing those phrases (case-insensitive).

Participants see a short notice that the message was not sent.

Soft ban (block participant)

  1. Participants tab → Block next to a person.
  2. They cannot re-enter with their access code — they see an access blocked message.
  3. If already in the room, within ~20 s they lose the ability to send chat (server-side check).
  4. Unblock restores access.

ALL participant message visibility

In the creator (Video step → chat settings) you can set visibility to All participant messages. On live, the player shows others' messages immediately (polling), without waiting for the viewer's first message.

Anti-spam

Send limits: at least 3 s between messages and max. 5 messages per 30 s — enforced server-side (the player shows a wait message).
